The CCD camera scans registration marks on the PCB, compares actual position against programmed coordinates, and automatically offsets the cutting path. This compensates for board placement variations, thermal expansion during processing, and minor fixture tolerances that would otherwise cause misalignment. Multi-Mark recognition allows up to four reference points, reducing downtime caused by failed mark detection and enabling separate compensation for each panel on multi-up fixtures.
